The time has come where we can add to our established team of meat processing professionals.  If you are a hard worker, punctual, easy going, enjoy the meat processing industry and would like to work in a family owned/operated business – we may have the right job for you. We have availability for positions within our new plant facility as well as our existing plant.  All positions posted are in Blumenort, Manitoba – 7 minutes North of Steinbach.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

Meat Cutters – 3 positions available

  • Must have demonstrated experience in cutting pork or beef
  • Must be fast and efficient
  • These shifts will be 10-hour days Monday to Thursday
  • Days will begin at 6:30 am
  • Pay is based on experience / quality and desired cut times
  • Must be physically fit to do complete the assigned tasks

Evisceration / Skinners – 2 positions available

  •  Previous evisceration/harvesting of large animals would be considered an asset
  • Experience using a whizard knife considered an asset  
  •  Must be able to keep up with line speeds
  • These shifts will be 10-hour days Monday to Thursday
  •  Days will begin at 6:00 am
  • Pay is based on experience and ability to maintain line speed as well as efficiency of work
  •  Must be physically fit to complete the assigned task
  • Willing to train the right candidate

Sausage Maker – 1 position available

  •  Demonstrated experience making sausage
  • Ability to follow instructions and read recipes – no exceptions
  •  Knowledge of using kitchen scales
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
  •  Must be able to lift 30 kgs on a regular basis (lifting product into mixer)
  • This position will work Monday to Friday – 8-hour work days
  • Days will begin at 7:00 am
  • This position is physically demanding

Barn Workers / Kill Floor – 2 positions available

  • Previous experience working with animals
  • Demonstrated organisational skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with slaughtering large animals
  • These shifts will be 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday
  • Days begin between 5-5:30 am
  • Willing to train the right candidate
  • Must be physically capable of competing the tasks

Sanitation – 3 positions available

  •  Attention to detail is very important in this role
  • Looking for candidates with “a little pep in their step”
  • Previous experience working within a food production facility is considered an asset.
  • Willing to train the right person
  • Physically fit is important as the job is very demanding
  •  Previous experience using a high-pressure hose
  • These shifts will be 8-hour days Monday to Friday
  • Days will begin at 3 pm

All Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and must already reside in Canada

All positions are full time positions.  We offer competitive wages based on experience as well as a comprehensive benefits package.  Our employees receive discounts on our products.
